Program Topic: Emotional Intelligence, Leadership & Employee Engagement
Emotional Intelligence (EI) is a highly covered topic in seminars, training, and books. The impact that developing EI has on people, teams, and organizations is substantial and well-documented. Please join us as we discuss:
Program Speaker: Linda Lafortune
Linda Lafortune partners with organizations to help individuals, teams, and leaders reach full potential through offering impactful employee and leadership development sessions. Linda’s areas of expertise include leadership development, emotional intelligence, employee engagement, change management, and professional skills development. Linda worked in the Corporate world for 25 years in organizations ranging in asset size from $25 million to $1+ billion. Her most recent corporate role was the AVP of Learning and Development for a large financial institution. Much of her career has been focused on developing high impact leadership development and employee engagement programs. She has earned her Masters Degree in Leadership and Organizational Change and is a certified facilitator.
Facilitator: Amy Robinson
Amy Robinson is owner of Robinson & Associates Consultants LLC – founded in 2004, a national Leadership consultancy firm to organizations that specializes in leadership development programs, coaching, training, and facilitation. Her motto is “We help organizations develop their high performers to be successful and authentic leaders.” During COVID-19 Amy and her associates are supporting their clients by providing the tools necessary to navigate discomfort and change while leading and communicating with emotional intelligence. She is certified in the EQ-i 2.0 & EQ 360.
Originally from the Philadelphia area, Amy has lived in the Upstate for four years, been a member of GSHRM for three and now holds the Director role for GSHRM’s Professional Development Committee responsible for the content of our monthly membership meetings.
