About the Speaker, Rachel Ferrara
Serving as the Director of Business Development at TargetCare, Rachel Ferrara plays a major role in partnering with HR professionals and decision makers who are facing organizational challenges related to increasing healthcare costs and improving employee well-being & engagement. Through her commitment to this role and involvement in the Charlotte health and fitness community, Rachel has helped organizations adopt the mindset that investing in employee health and well-being is not only the right thing to do, but proves to be a highly effective business strategy—if done right.
As a Division I Collegiate Athlete turned certified fitness instructor and corporate health expert, Rachel has a strong passion for inspiring others to live their healthiest lives. From the athletic field, to the studio, to the corporate setting— she offers a unique, innovative perspective when it comes to preventive health care and personal well-being. Inspired by her experience working for an organization with a demonstrated 17 years of industry success, Rachel aspires to share knowledge and expertise on what it takes to be successful in your corporate health & wellness initiatives.
HR Certification Credit: GSHRM is recognized by SHRM to offer Professional Development Credits (PDCs) for SHRM-CP® or SHRM-SCP® recertification activities. This program is approved for 1 hour of SHRM re-certification credit and 1 hour of HRCI General re-certification credit. Certificates will be emailed to those in attendance after the meeting along with a Feedback Survey.
