Working Through Conflict:
Communication in Challenging Situations

Speaker
Kady Jacobs, Anger Management of the Upstate

Registration is $25. Please register by July 28.

Kady Jacobs will provide enlightenment on ways to effectively engage in difficult communication at work and in our personal lives. At some point many of us have experienced that awkward moment when a conversation becomes strained or we know that we have to have that challenging talk, but not quite sure how to navigate those moments. Knowing how to appropriately engage could lessen the likelihood of increasing conflict while also moving toward resolution and/or compromise. Attendees will:

  • Gain understanding of causes to the breakdown in communication
  • Learn techniques to increase more effective communication
  • Learn various communication tips and techniques to diffuse anxious situations
