Join us as we connect with our GSHRM members to discuss creative ways we are finding success with hiring and retaining talented employees. This meeting provides all attendees with the opportunity to collaborate and share what processes are working, common struggle points, what are candidates seeking during the hiring process, and so much more.

• Post COVID and Great Resignation: What are the best strategies for attracting and retaining talented employees?   
  
  
  ·        Are we updating benefits, providing “perks”, reviewing compensation, or providing tools/resources for employees to be successful in the training and new hire process?

  ·         How long is the hiring process? Is it efficient?

  ·         Where are we promoting positions externally to ensure we target the right candidates? Is the application process difficult or time consuming? What tools can we use to minimize the time it takes to apply?

• What is HR’s involvement in the recruiting process for decentralized organizations?
  
  
• How can we provide support to our new hires to ensure retention?

  ·         Do we offer new employees with a coworker to lean on for support/directions/resources?

  ·         Are goals/performance expectations clearly communicated and agreed on by both employees and management?

  ·         Is performance reviewed every 30/60/90-days?
