This session will provide an update on recent developments at the National Labor Relations Board, including rapidly changing laws of which every private sector employer – union or non-union – should be aware.  We will also discuss recent labor activity in the Southeast, including in South Carolina, and the legal implications of the same.

• Lawful and unlawful responses to union organizing and Section 7 activity

Speaker Bio:

John Merrell is a shareholder in Ogletree Deakins’ Greenville, South Carolina office.  He provides preventive advice and counsel to employers on federal and state labor and employment laws, including the National Labor Relations Act.
