Description:
Attendees will hear from a panel of professionals that practice intergenerational communication in the workplace to learn strategies and best practices. They will break out into small groups to discuss hypothetical situations amongst themselves and then return to exchange ideas. This will allow participants to take away strategies to create more inclusive and productive work environments.

Speaker Bios:
Kellie Bilyeu is a senior at Bob Jones University majoring in Business with a concentration in Human Resources. She is on track to graduate December 2024. She has gained diverse HR work experience through internships in a variety of workplaces. Her most recent internship experience, at Amazon, was completed in Campbellsville, Kentucky, where she served in the HR department focusing on conflict resolution in the workplace. She spent the previous summer working in Talent Acquisition at Answers in Genesis in Petersburg, Kentucky.
Mary Mendoza has over 20 years of experience teaching communication, with a background in communication, media, counseling, and education. Her doctoral research focused on social media communication practices in higher education. She teaches courses like intercultural communication, strategic public relations, and crisis communication, and is an ATD Master Trainer and IDI Facilitator. Dr. Mendoza also consults on internal communication and organizational culture and is actively involved in her community and church.
Paul Sinanian began his career in 1991 at Robert Bosch Corporation and has spent over 25 years with BMW Manufacturing in roles such as vehicle analysis, functionality evaluation, and new vehicle launch validation. He is currently the Department Manager of Talent Programs and Training at BMW Manufacturing. Paul holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering, an MBA from Clemson University, and a BA in Accounting and Management from Furman University. He is a strong advocate for continuing education, personnel development, innovation, and culture growth.
HR Certification Credit: GSHRM is recognized by SHRM to offer Professional Development Credits (PDCs) for SHRM-CP® or SHRM-SCP® recertification activities. This program is pending for 1 hour of SHRM re-certification credit and 1 hour of HRCI General re-certification credit. Certificates will be emailed to those in attendance after the meeting along with a Feedback Survey. Dress Code: Business casual. For gentlemen, a necktie is not required. Ladies shall dress appropriately. No jeans, shorts, or tennis shoes will be allowed.
