Description:

Change is inevitable, but effective leadership can turn uncertainty into opportunity. Leading Through Change and Transition helps leaders guide their teams with clarity, empathy, and purpose. This engaging session explores how to manage the human side of change—building trust, maintaining alignment, and inspiring confidence through every stage of transition.

Learning Objectives:

1. Understand the difference between change and transition and support others through each phase.

2. Honor endings and help teams move effectively through the neutral zone toward new beginnings.

3. Build and sustain trust through character, capability, and communication.

4. Strengthen alignment, direction, and commitment to maintain focus and engagement.

5.Lead with transparency, empathy, and consistency to foster resilience and long-term success.

Dr. Clemson Turregano

Dr. Clemson Turregano is a seasoned Leadership Solutions professional with 40+ years of global leadership development expertise. With a strong focus on technical institutions, Clemson collaborates with domestic and international teams, shaping innovative leadership programs worldwide. 

Clemson is a renowned scholar, creating unforgettable leadership experiences with lasting impact. His professional career includes delivery in over 40 countries, offering deep international insight. A retired US Army officer, Clemson commanded troops during the Kosovo conflict and held key roles at West Point and US Naval War College. 




       

HR Certification Credits: GSHRM is recognized by SHRM to offer Professional Development Credits (PDCs) for SHRM-CP® or SHRM-SCP® recertification activities. This program has been pre-approved for 1 hour of SHRM re-certification credit. This program has also been pre-approved for 1 hour of HRCI General re-certification credit toward aPHR®, aPHRi™, PHR®, PHRca®, SPHR®, GPHR®, PHRi™ and SPHRi™ recertification through HR Certification Institute® (HRCI®). Certificates will be emailed to those in attendance after the meeting along with a Feedback Survey.

Poinsett Club Dress Code: Business casual. For gentlemen, a necktie is not required. Ladies shall dress appropriately. No jeans, shorts, or tennis shoes will be allowed. Cell phone use is not allowed in the Club.
