In this highly interactive session, HR professionals will explore creative, cost-effective ways to spark learning and development across their organizations—without adding to their workload or budgets. Through real examples, small-group discussions, and quick idea swaps, participants will uncover practical strategies to launch meaningful training initiatives, partner with leaders, and empower employees to take ownership of their growth. • Apply practical frameworks and conversation starters to engage leaders, managers, and employees in shared ownership

• Collaborate in breakout discussions to generate new ideas and action steps tailored to their company’s size, resources, and culture.

Meet our Speaker!

Emily Watrous, a former CHRO with 29 years of HR experience across Fortune 150 companies and diverse industries, now leads two ventures: 4 Impact Coaching, LLC, specializing in executive and career coaching, and Management School LLC, home to Take the L.E.A.D., a cohort-based leadership development program. Blending deep HR expertise with ICF-ACC coaching and Hogan certification, Emily helps leaders and organizations thrive through change—fueling them with clarity, confidence, and tools to grow, transition, and soar on their own.

HR Certification Credits: Greenville SHRM is recognized by SHRM to offer Professional Development Credits (PDCs) for SHRM-CP® or SHRM-SCP® recertification activities. This program has been pre-approved for 1 hour of SHRM re-certification credit. This program has also been pre-approved for 1 hour of HRCI General re-certification credit toward aPHR®, aPHRi™, PHR®, PHRca®, SPHR®, GPHR®, PHRi™ and SPHRi™ recertification through HR Certification Institute® (HRCI®).
