Program Topic: Best Practices for Launching a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Program

Learn from a panel (Audra Jenkins, Alexander Alonso, LaTomya "LT" Doctor, Darlene Shepherd, and moderator Nicole Andrews) who have direct experience in implementing worksite programs in the realm of diversity, equity, and inclusion. They will share best practices, case studies, steps involved, and program results in order to empower other HR professionals to take concrete steps toward achieving impactful DEI programs at work.

Learn:

1. What motivates an organization to initiate a DEI program, including specific actions/stages required to launch
2. Measures and benchmarks for program progression and achieving intended results
3. Advice to others who are planning similar initiatives, including helpful resources, best practices, insights, and real-time experiences

Getting On Board: A new member "Getting On Board" virtual orientation session will take place at 11:00 a.m. just prior to the meeting for all new members as well as those wanting a refresher on GSHRM and how to get involved.  Please indicate if you plan to attend on your registration form.

HR Certification Credit: This program is approved for 1 PDC for the SHRM-CP^SM or SHRM-SCP^SM. It is approved for 1 hour of HRCI general re-certification credit. Certificates will be emailed to those in attendance after the meeting along with a Feedback Survey.
